Bell Rock connects Monroe Mountain Road to Paiute Side Trail 40, dropping through Fishlake National Forest before crossing onto BLM land partway along the route. Most drivers use it as a scenic through route or a link between nearby trail systems, descending steadily along dirt and rocky gravel.
Suitable camping is not present on the road or trail.
