The road is mostly compacted gravel and completely tree-lined except in a few locations with views of various water features. A few potential campsites are located along the trail.

A twisty and curvey but maintained forest service road in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, Eagle River-Florence Ranger District. The forest trees are a mix of pine, hardwood, and older growth. Water features were also abundant along the route. A few locations were found in which one could camp, but none of which were pre-disturbed.

Kaine Lake Road
Nelma, Wisconsin
Starting as 2461, with a gravel and graded surface, the trail quickly deteriorates to overgrown and muddy with ruts, where it turns into 2461A at a lower elevation. At the merge point, the road is well-defined, signed, and continues through to 2192A, but the MVUM shows that section of the road is for snowmobiles only. No camping found.
