Jones Hollow drops out of the high timber above Soapstone Basin and follows an old forest road down through aspen groves and open meadow toward the lower drainage near Strawberry Reservoir. Expect a dirt and rocky surface with occasional obstacles under 9 inches, minor ruts, and a few tight turns, but nothing that demands low range in dry conditions. Suitable camping is not present on the trail. There are no legitimate campsites along the route, so anyone planning to camp should look for options elsewhere in the surrounding Uinta National Forest. The road ends at a Snowmobile Trail.
