Clyde Creek Timber Sale follows an old logging road that has become a popular dispersed camping and off-road route on the way toward Strawberry Ridge. The route combines 70299 and 70301 which works through mixed pine and aspen, with old timber cuts and regrowth visible along the upper stretches, and open breaks in the trees give periodic views back over the Strawberry Reservoir basin. It connects Clyde Creek and Jones Hollow roads.
There are dozens of dispersed camping spots available along the route, with the largest easily fitting a group of rigs.
