At just 0.2 miles, it links the main basin roads to a camping spot tucked above the drainage, with a rock slide sitting next to the site worth a look on foot. Stock vehicles can handle it, but drivers will want to watch tire placement over dirt and rock surfaces with obstacles under 3 inches. Camping is dispersed, with a single site at the end of the trail that can comfortably fit up to three rigs, or two rigs and small trailers. The site has a little shade from surrounding pine and aspen but no real privacy from the road.
