Overview

Only 0.12 miles long, but can take you anywhere from a few hours to a whole day to complete. Patriot Trail is the most difficult rock crawling trail of the Penrose Trail System and known as one of the toughest in the state. It runs through a small canyon filled with large boulders and ledges from start to finish. Rolling, body damage, and breaking is likely. This is also a great trail to hike on and watch others attempt the obstacles.
