This trail is a challenging Arizona desert 4x4 route featuring softball to bowling ball-sized rocks that test tire grip and suspension, along with rocky ledges, steep hills, and descents requiring good ground clearance, low-range gearing, and solid driving skills. The rugged path winds through scenic Sonoran Desert terrain dotted with iconic Saguaro cacti, mesquite, and palo verde trees.
The trail concludes with a crossing of the Agua Fria River, so always check water levels beforehand—flows can rise quickly and become hazardous or impassable after rain.
