Trail 1092, located in the St. Clair OHV Permit Zone of the Tonto National Forest, winds its way through a broad sandy wash toward the Verde River. Dense desert brush lines the route, creating narrow passages where mesquite and palo verde trees crowd close to the trail, while towering saguaro cacti stand like silent sentinels across the landscape.
The trail ends at the Verde River, with thicker vegetation providing a sanctuary for wild birds and other animals, and it's a quiet place to sit and relax, enjoy lunch, or even camp for the night.
