The first Easter Jeep Safari (EJS), the event now organized by the Red Rock 4 Wheelers, began in 1967. Originally started by the Moab Chamber of Commerce as a one day 4x4 trail run on Behind the Rocks, the event transitioned to the Red Rock 4 Wheelers in 1983 following Bureau of Land Management permit requirements. Listed below are the permitted routes for the event. While the specific sequence or variations may change slightly from year to year, the GPS tracks provided here represent the authorized route corridors. Trails Offroad maps trails by their official road numbers from start to finish. Easter Jeep Safari routes are event itineraries that often combine multiple numbered trail segments into a single permitted experience. If you are looking for a specific Safari route, you will find every individual trail segment here, by its route name.
