Mistletoe

Mistletoe and its connected trails offer some great views, secluded camping, and easy but fun treks through the woods. Keep an eye out for wildlife and dramatic outcrops of Pikes Peak granite. Spanning the western slope of Blue Mountain, southeast of famous (and often crowded) Eleven Mile Canyon, this out-of-the-way trail network is a true hidden gem. Most summer days, you'd be hard-pressed to find two or three other rigs on the trail. The few established campsites are true havens of back-country peace and quiet.
