Highlight: Corcoran Wash/Dry Creek
Located just west of De Beque, Colorado, Corcoran Wash brings you within arms distance of some of the most unique rock formations and colorful cliff faces you can find anywhere in Colorado. Used primarily as a connecting route, this trail can be combined with multiple other trails creating an all-day loop from De Beque and back. The trail skirts the edge of the Pine Gulch Fire, the largest fire in Colorado history at the time, and was used as the main fire break on the southeastern side of the fire. This trail offers great seclusion into the remote wilderness of the Bookcliffs.
