Indian Gorge is a simple but amazing drive through the spectacular Anza Borrego State Park Desert. As you follow the trail south, you traverse the same ancient Indian route as you slowly head back into the southern hills of the State Park. There is no doubt why this is a dream come true for overlanders and 4x4 enthusiasts alike that are looking to escape the headache of city life and enjoy the solitude and beauty of the amazing ambiance of this picturesque desert. Along the route, you will be enveloped in astonishing desert plant life amid striking mountains in the background.

This was a fun sandy trail but there were plenty of decent-sized rocks that you need to be aware of.

It was a nice scenic trail, easy to do as the trail rating indicates. My kids got a kick out of all the rabbits and mice looking creatures running around.
