Crow Creek Road

The Crow Creek four-wheel drive trail is a great trail to experience the beautiful ponderosa pine, rolling grasslands, and granite rock features of eastern Wyoming. The trail is situated in the Pole Mountain unit of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest between Cheyenne and Laramie, Wyoming. Crow Creek is just one of many routes in the area, making it a great place for a full weekend adventure. From gravel bike riding to rock climbing to hiking, the Pole Mountain unit is sure to keep the whole family busy. History buffs may enjoy seeing one of two old bunkers located along Crow Creek. Prior to 1959, this 55,000-acre area was administered by the Department of Defense for military training, with the bunker among the few remaining structures.
