Located just west of David, Oklahoma, Cross Bar Ranch is a 6,500-acre off-road park in the Arbuckle Mountains with 150+ miles of trails for all types of OHVs. From mellow ranch roads to hardcore rockcrawling, this park is suitable for everything from family trail rides to serious builds attempting big obstacles. The park is home to one Jeep Badge of Honor trail and a yearly Jeep Jamboree.
Terrain and Difficulty
Cross Bar Ranch offers trails of every difficulty with signature obstacles involving big rock faces, ledgy hill climbs, and canyon-style trails. The most difficult trails can be found on the north end of the park and gradually get easier the farther south you travel. Most of the terrain is embedded limestone and soft soils, which become extremely slick when wet, making trails noticeably more difficult than ratings may suggest.
Access
The park is open 24/7, allowing night riding, and only closes for a few weeks each year during deer rifle season. Office hours are Friday through Sunday, 9am to 6pm’ish. All riders are required to purchase riding passes and sign liability waivers. This can be done either online or at the office during office hours.
Cell service can be spotty in low areas, so download offline maps before you arrive.
Camping and Lodging
Cross Bar Ranch welcomes all types of campers. Two primary camps offer 28 RV hookup sites with water and electric. RV pads can be gravel or concrete. Primitive, dry camping is allowed anywhere in the park, even on the trails. The park even has one bunkhouse if you didn’t bring your own camping gear. On site facilities include vault toilets, dump station, and water fill. There are no shower houses on-site.
