Colorado is known for its amazing beauty and scenic off-road drives. But it's not typically known for its demanding and challenging rock-crawling obstacles, especially what the offroad community likes to call a "playground." Moody Hill is one of those anomalies where two drivers at completely different ends of the spectrum can have a fun and challenging day out on the trails. A novice driver with a stock or mildly built rig can tag along with a competition buggy all of the way up to the very end of the trail, where maybe it's best to park the stock rig and watch what a purpose-built vehicle can do. Moody Hill is known for the final obstacle/area, the quarry, a playground where all sorts of vehicle capabilities can practice offroad skills, from smaller ledges to insane vertical waterfalls. If you love scenic views and breathing in the fresh Colorado mountain air with a rig somewhere between bone stock and a money pit on 44" tires, Moody Hill has to be on your shortlist.
