Deadman Hill is the perfect picnic place while exploring in Red Feather Lakes area and Deadman Road. It's and easy short drive to the top of the hill where the Deadman Lookout Tower stands, offering views that can't be found elsewhere in Northern Colorado. The climb to the top of the tower is also an adventure in itself and will make you sweat even on the coolest days. If you are in the area be sure to check it out, and leave your fear of heights at home.
