Bockman Road is an alternate 4WD entrance into the Colorado State Forest near Gould, CO. The trail offers great views of the Crags, rugged peaks on the northern edge of the Rocky Mountain National Park. Wildlife is abundant and this is one of the best moose viewing areas in Colorado. The State Forest, operated by Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife, offers many outdoor activities including hiking, off-roading, hunting, fishing, camping, and, during winter months, cross country skiing and snowmobiling. There are many other 4WD trails in this part of the state known as North Park.
