Moniger connects Muddy Pass and Red and White Mountain. The eastern end of the trail is rocky with one rock-shelf obstacle. The rest is dirt two-track with some great views of Beaver Creek ski resort to the south. There are several mud pits. Some have bypasses. Some are deeper than they look. There are a few dispersed campsites near the western end of the trail.
