Comanche is an easy road that leads to a designated campground and hiking trailheads. This trail traverses a parcel of private land with several large structures, which makes it feel more like a private road than an actual Forest Service road. With its expansive hiking opportunities at the end, this trail would be much better suited for a hiker/backpacker looking for a quieter trailhead to leave their van or AWD car for the weekend.
