Overview

The Red Cloud Mine Trail near Indio / Salton Sea might just be one of the most unique areas in all of Southern California. Along this route, you are blasted into the 1840's gold rush era when people managed to survive in remote and austere conditions. Along this route are some unique structures including stone houses, a stone mill, graves, historic mines, classic cars, and much more.
