Forest Route 5N04 is a mostly gentle out-and-back trail that leads to a cell tower station at its terminus. As the trail climbs, it narrows slightly and becomes slightly rougher, but remains easily traversable with minimal experience. Three or four dispersed campsites dot the route, each only large enough for 1-2 vehicles. Visitors new to the area may be interested in the bright green moss that seems to glow on the pine trees. 5N04 also provides general access to the area around Double Dome Rock for those who wish to explore further on foot.
