If you’re looking for some more scenery near the McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area, this is an excellent off-the-beaten-path place to get some rocks under your tires and views in your eyes. This short trail near Grand Junction, Colorado, is off the main drag of Black Upper Ridge Road and a quick, 250-foot descent down the canyon wall. You are treated to the scenic views south towards the Palisade Wilderness on the way down with a fun little off-road climb on the way out.
