Highlight: Platte Springs Road
Like many of the trails in the Lake George, Colorado area, Platte Springs Road doesn’t have any major obstacles and offers a mild off-road drive in the area. The nearly 2-mile long trail weaves through Colorado forest and connects to the spur roads of Tappen and Perkins road that have dispersed camping available on the edge of the Hayman burn. There isn’t a ton of scenery on this trail but take Happy Platte Road to make a full loop of these trails on this side of County Road 77. These trails are a good half-day start to a day of trails in the Badger Flats Trail Network that include Burns Park Road, La Salle Pass, and more.
