Highlight: Powerline East Road
New and seasoned off-roaders looking to get a taste of the trails off Rampart Range Road will enjoy Powerline East Road. This easy trail located just outside of Monument, CO follows powerlines in the area, weaving in and out of the forest for about 4 miles. This is a less-traveled area in the summer and can be a nice break from the crowds. Since the trail is open year-round, winter offers the most challenge and arguably the best views of Pike’s Peak with a fresh coat of snow. Snow and ice will turn the easy ruts and grades into a slippery adventure park. No matter the time of year, you can easily add Powerline South Road, Beaver Creek Road, and Ensign Gulch Road to make a full day of wheeling.
