Highlight: Babcock Webb -  Road 7
Road 7 is located in southeastern Babcock Webb WMA. Travelers can expect a scenic route through woods, prairie, and marsh zones; everything Babcock Webb WMA has to offer! Road 7 is highly popular with the local cattle as they have a feeding station at the intersection of Road 8. Plenty of green vegetation sprawling into the horizon, bright blue skies (and/or typical Florida rainshadows), and the distant sounds of moose, a typical combination for Babcock Webb WMA. Fred C. Babcock/Cecil M. Webb Wildlife Management Area is an active cattle ranch located in southwest Florida. The Wildlife Management Area consists of prairies, marshes, and woodlands spanning almost 66,000 acres in Charlotte County. Babcock Webb WMA allows camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, wildlife watching, paddling, boating, and horseback riding.

1. Road 7 Trailhead (0 mi)
There is no sign identifying Road 7 however, it will be the last dirt trail facing south before reaching Road 6. Proceed south through the trees.

Directions to Trailhead

Starting Point: Punta Gorda, Florida

Turn off I-75 at Exit 158 and head east on Tucker Grade. Proceed straight/east into Babcock Webb WMA for about 11.2 miles. On the right/south side of Tucker Grade there will be a dirt road without a sign, this is Road 7. If coming across Road 6 you have gone too far, turn around and backtrack west.
