Goethe State Forest is located in central FL and spans almost 54,000 acres. Exploring Goethe State Forest can be done in many ways, such as hiking, bicycling, horseback, and street-legal vehicles. Goethe State Forest is great for anyone looking to hunt, fish, camp, and watch wildlife.
Dixon Road is located on the south side of Goethe State Forest. The trail is very short and will take travelers on a shortcut through deep forest. Dixon Road is a well-maintained road and allows explorers to relax and enjoy the scenery or maybe take a break and enjoy the silence, as the road is not prone to much traffic.

At the intersection of N Williams St and Cedar St, turn westbound onto Cedar St. Follow Cedar St. for about 5 miles then turn northbound onto FL-336. Follow FL-336 for about 5.5 miles and turn left onto Old Rock Road. Follow Old Rock Road for about a mile and turn left/east onto a dirt road with a brown sign for Dixon Road.
Dixon Road is a very basic trail in Goethe. Not something to someone would specifically explore, but nice to take a break and take in the forest.
