Road 7 is located in central Goethe State Forest and takes visitors to the west border. Road 7 and Road 2 make up the Dewitt T. Watson Loop. Trail 7 will take visitors through various scenic areas such as open clearings from logging, highly dense vegetation sections, and areas where prescribed burns charred trees, but now lush green vegetation has grown back. Road 7 will also have shallow water crossings with gravel footing so drivers won't have to worry about mudholes!
