Trail Information

Highlights

Tosohatchee Wildlife Management Area is located on the east side of Florida about 20 miles away from the Atlantic Ocean! Tosohatchee WMA is almost 31,000 acres and offers camping, fishing, and part of the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail! Being so close to the Atlantic Ocean means Tosohatchee is mainly swampland but still about 100' above sea-level. Powerline road was created to route and maintain electricity supplying Titusville, Orlando, Christmas, and other cities on Florida's east coast. Seeing the never-ending powerlines disappear into the horizon, crossing multiple wooden bridges, and the vast amount of wildlife will leave enjoyable memories for times to come.

Fantastic trails with beautiful trees and wildlife. It’s well maintained and there are other activities that you can do along the trail. Bring lunch or something to grill. You can even go fishing.

Easy trail with enough water and mud to provide some fun. Great for a family ride with lots of wildlife including a bunch of alligators, turtles, birds, etc. It is Florida, so the trails are flat. They are well maintained and one could complete the loop in 2WD if they choose to -- but what's the fun in that? Put it in 4WD when you can and and enjoy the deeper puddles and mud.

This trail is well maintained, with many shallow puddles. Lifted above the swamp this path provides an exciting route to the Long Bluff Road. Wildlife includes alligators, turtles, huge grasshoppers, etc.
