Difficulty Accuracy: Spot On

Trail is in decent shape, many rough spots and bumpy areas that I would not bring a car or regular passenger vehicle on this road anymore. 4x4 isn't necessary but high clearance is very strongly recommended these days due to minor ruts and bumpy spots.

Took this road coming out of the War Woman forestry area. Nice quiet drive that has access to several other roads. My truck is a 4wd but I only used 2wd. All vehicles have different capabilities so know that it gets rocky and bump with small to medium ruts at some points that are not suitable to cars, vans, or some smaller SUV's. Several secluded camping locations in the area. Although its rated as easy it was fun and worth the trip. Coming off of this road at the North end going East is FS 696. It is a narrow trial that connects to Overflow Creek road. oN This site it's referred to as Holcomb Creek road. Its a more secluded drive. I recommend it. Just south of this road is another tighter service road (FS75) that is a little more fun. I didn't get to finish the trail all the way through. There was a spit in the trail. I went left and it dead ended at a grassy area. When coming back out the left turn was too tight so I just went back out.

Trail is in good shape. Nice quiet ride. A lot of hikers out and about and people camping so keep an eye out for people.

Took a ride down here updating trails and waterfall hunting. Parked at Waypoint 4, walked south down the road for about a minute, turned left onto the Holcomb Creek Trail and found this beautiful waterfall.

Trail is in good shape. We were going to post up for the weekend at waypoint 4 in the large clearing but there was a decent amount of trash including a couple of mattresses (seriously!?!). There are two camping areas at waypoint 6 with one being in the pictures above and another on the south side of the creek that is a little more secluded off the road. Plenty of room for our full-size truck w/ teardrop in tow.
