Highlight: Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area: Desi's Way
Desi’s Way is often the first trail many visitors explore due to its proximity to the park office and its relative ease. With a couple minor obstacles as well as one optional moderate obstacle, the trail provides an enjoyable introduction to the park terrain and the type of wheeling that can be found throughout the park.

Desi’s Way western trailhead is easily located near the park main office.

Directions to Trailhead

Starting Point: Park Office

Most enter Desi’s Way from the western trailhead and run the partial loop in a clockwise direction, however the trail may be run in either direction. To enter the western trailhead, proceed south from the park office approximately 1/10 of a mile. The Trailhead will be to your left.
