Overview

This easy trail west of Boulder, Colorado, is kind of a backdoor into the historic Switzerland Trail network. It boasts beautiful scenery and is a popular area for camping, hiking and mountain biking as well as 4-wheeling. Its proximity to the Denver Metro area makes it a good choice for a quick outing or it can be combined with the connecting and nearby trails to make a nice, relaxing day in the mountains. Since there is no seasonal gate, it also makes a nice snow run in the winter.
