Overview

Baltimore Ridge offers spectacular views of the Mammoth Gulch valley and the surrounding mountains as it climbs the ridge on the east side of Mammoth Gulch. The views stretch from Kingston Peak and James Peak to the southwest, past the Rollins Pass area to the west and northwest all the way to the Indian Peaks to the north. Because the trail is fairly short and easy, it is not as crowded as other nearby trails giving you a bit more solitude in this popular area. It makes a pleasant and beautiful little side trip if you are in the Mammoth Gulch area.
