Overview

East Upham Loop is an easy side trail off of Gordon Gulch. About half way around the loop it connects with East Upham Spur which provides a slightly rougher option for returning to Gordon Gulch via Forest Service Road 228C. There is also an odd piece of old mining equipment at the northern intersection of Forest Service Road 228C and Forest Service Road 228A near the end of the trail. East Upham Loop can be run as a stand-alone trail but is more often used to extend the day when running Gordon Gulch. It also can be a fun trail to run in the snow.
