small-sr Icon
Pisgah Spur is a fun, steep, and bumpy connection from Freeman Gulch to Yankee Hill in the Arapaho National Forest. The first two-thirds of the trail climbs steeply with several mildly rocky sections, which provide optional moderate difficulty lines. From there, it turns east and levels out as it traverses across the hill, passing through private property before connecting with Yankee Hill. This upper portion provides excellent views of the mountains to the south. Limited camping is available near the end of the trail, but make sure you are past the private property before finding a site.
