Calumet Road is a well-maintained asphalt and gravel road connecting Highway 385 to Highway 16 on the southern side of Sheridan Lake. Calumet Road provides access to the southern recreation areas of Sheridan Lake, including kayaking, boating, and fishing.

The Sheridan Lake South Shore Campground is located off Calumet Road, and offers tent and RV sites. Dispersed camping is available at a pull-off about midway through Calumet Road.
