South Highline Road is a smooth dirt road that serves as the northernmost connector between Shoshone Road and Atlanta Road in White Pine County, NV. The graded gravel surface stays even and free of significant washboard or rock, making it suitable for all vehicles under normal dry conditions as it runs through dense low sagebrush and yellow-flowered shrubs with open high-desert terrain and distant mountain ranges visible in every direction.
Dispersed camping is allowed, but there are no established or suitable spots along the trail. The dense vegetation and berm make camping along this trail less than ideal. Better-suited campsites can be found along the many spurs west of Shoshone Road.
