Dry Lake Road is a short, scenic, high-desert dirt road located in central Cave Valley. The route travels through low-lying grassland and sagebrush with views of the surrounding mountain ranges. Historic charcoal ovens are visible along the trail, while remnants of old smelter slag and stone cabins are visible in the distance.

The road is a dirt surface suitable for stock SUVs and other high-clearance vehicles, but it can become difficult when wet. It connects to the Silver State OHV Trail network.

Dispersed camping is allowed on surrounding public lands, but there are no established campsites along the trail itself. Better options are found to the west along the numerous side spurs.
