

Cave Valley Road is a scenic high-desert dirt road in Lincoln County that runs north-south through the heart of Cave Valley. It connects North Cave Valley Road near Patterson Pass to Sidehill Road, offering gorgeous views in every direction across the expansive basin and surrounding mountain ranges. The route winds through classic Nevada high-desert terrain, with wide-open sagebrush flats and distant peaks, delivering a peaceful, visually rewarding drive.
The road is a dirt surface suitable for high-clearance vehicles. It connects to the Silver State OHV Trail network and provides excellent access for exploration throughout Cave Valley.
Cave Valley Road is a beautiful drive where dispersed camping is allowed, but the trail itself does not offer any obvious campsites. Camping options are available at the eastern end of Shingle Shortcut Road or along the southern half of Silver King Well Road.
