Fletcher Butte

Fletcher Butte is in the Boise National Forest, less than 2 hours from downtown Boise. Its location makes for an ideal spot for you, your family, and friends to take off for an enjoyable day trip or take advantage of the many dispersed campsites you'll find along this trail, especially on the short Gravel Pit Spur near trails end. You'll parallel Shirts Creek (not the other creek) for most of the trail, which adds to the opportunity to spot the abundant wildlife that Idaho offers. When away from your vehicle, be aware of the wildlife nearby, especially with children and pets.
