Cayuse Creek Road starts at a gravel reclaimation site in Featherville and runs up through some private land and mining claims. Most of the road is well-maintained gravel, except for the upper section, after the creek crossing, at which point the road becomes a slightly rougher dirt road with small embedded rocks. Shortly after crossing the creek, the road comes to an end. Although it is a pleasant enough road to drive, it doesn't lead anywhere, and it holds nothing spectacular that would make it particularly worth taking.
There are no opportunities to camp along Cayuse Creek Road due to the private property.
