Goethe - Red Lodge Road

Goethe State Forest is located in central FL and spans almost 54,000 acres. Exploring Goethe State Forest can be done in many ways, such as hiking, bicycling, horseback, and street-legal vehicles. Goethe State Forest is great for anyone looking to hunt, fish, camp, and watch wildlife. Red Lodge Road is located on the south side of Goethe State Forest. The trail will take explorers through the deep forest on a slalom-like path. Red Lodge Road gets its name from a red building that has been abandoned and currently in ruin due to the forest taking over. There are also other smaller buildings around the lodge that probably for animals however, these buildings are also in ruin.
