Goethe - North Gasline Road

Goethe State Forest is located in central Florida and spans almost 54,000 acres. Exploring Goethe State Forest can be done in many ways, such as hiking, bicycling, horseback, and street-legal vehicles. Goethe State Forest is great for anyone looking to hunt, fish, camp, and watch wildlife. North Gasline Road is located on the south side of Goethe State Forest. North Gasline Road begins on an elevated surface due to swamp on both sides of the trail. Later the trail dries out to and visitors are surrounded by various forest density as this trail has been previously harvested for lumber. On the north end of the trail, visitors will find Apex Trailhead which hosts grills, restrooms, picnic tables, and places to hitch horses.
