Osceola - FR207

Osceola National Forest is one of three National Forests in Florida. Spanning 266,000 acres Osceola is the smallest of Florida's National Forests. Exploring Osceola National Forest can be done in many ways such as hiking, ATVs, horseback, and street-legal vehicles. Ocala National Forest is great for anyone looking to hunt, camp, watch wildlife, or visit the Lewis D. Whitaker shooting range! National Forest Road 207 is a short scenic trail on the southeast side of Osceola National Forest. The trail is well maintained and has many minor trails shooting off of it. FR207 is a peaceful short trail allowing travelers to swing by a pond to view fish and to take a break and relax. FR207 is also home to the Olustee Battlefield Park where every February a battle reenactment from 1864 takes place!
