Located just northwest of the town of Silverton in the San Juan National Forest, Clear Lake is a fairly short and mellow 4wd trail rewarding drivers with incredible views all year long. From snow-capped peaks and wildflowers early in the summer to vibrant fiery fall colors and waterfalls, this trail does not disappoint. Although heavily trafficked, this trail is well worth the drive to the top.
