Ditches Road

Located within the San Juan National Forest of southwestern Colorado is a vast network of trails that offer users a backcountry four-wheeling experience without all the trail traffic. Ditches Road is a mild 4x4 trail that leads up into the mountains above the town of Mancos. The trail has some mild challenges along the way but nothing a stock 4x4 couldn't handle when it's dry. The trail connects with others in the area to make for a truly enjoyable day on the trail. You can also choose to pick from one of the many great free campsites so you can have some extra time to truly take in the laid back atmosphere this region is known for.
