East Upham Spur

East Upham Spur is a slightly harder option for completing East Upham Loop. It connects to East Upham Loop about halfway around the loop and then parallels the second half, rejoining the loop just before its return to Gordon Gulch. There is an odd piece of old mining equipment at the northern intersection of Forest Service Road 228C and Forest Service Road 228A at the end of the trail.
