House Creek B is a straight-through road that travels north and south, connecting Bean Canyon to Upper House Creek. It travels through a thick Ponderosa pine forest past a small scenic pond known as Pell Reservoir. The road makes one steep climb and is rough and rocky, with sections of tombstone-sized chunky exposed sandstone. Users should expect significant rutting in the softer soil parts of the trail and deep mud holes during periods of wet weather. Several great dispersed campsites are located along the northern end of the trail, offering open meadow views, spacious sites, and level, soft ground. The campsites are easy to access from the north end, but the entire length of the trail is best suited for a high clearance vehicle with a low-end transfer case.
