Lost Canyon is an easy offroad trail connecting Gunnison to Almont in a nice, scenic detour through BLM and National Forest land. This trail is a great option for a beginner or someone with a less-built rig to camp and enjoy the great outdoors. Numerous campsites are easily accessible in just about any rig. If you are looking for a nice place to spend the night outside the Gunnison area and don't have the desire or ability to put it in 4-low, Lost Canyon is a great option.
