9S04 - Puerta la Cruz is one of the six or so trails branching off Highway 79 in the beautiful Aguanga and Warner Springs valleys. The trail shares its length equally with the BLM and the Cleveland National Forest and is ideal for the new 4x4 off-roader. Depending on your location you can see the cattle grazing on the grasslands below, to the Palomar mountains, Lake Henshaw, and the San Jacinto Mountains. You can spend a day or a week wheelin the trails where you can enjoy a picnic or some overnight time in a dispersed or organized campsite.
