Oak or Forest Road 153 is an excellent option for entering or exiting the Ouachita National Forest. This short road packs an abundance of magnificent Arkansas scenery. From a babbling brook to the views from the tops of the Ouachita Mountain Range this road is simply gorgeous. Oak/FR153 also crosses the Ouachita National Recreational Trail, which is a 223 mile long continuous hiking trail through the Ouachita Mountains of Oklahoma and Arkansas. Oak/153 intersects with Winona Forest Drive/FR132. Winona Forest Drive/FR132 is part of the Winona Auto Tour Scenic Drive and is highly popular amongst the locals for its overlooks and stunning views of the natural state.
